“I believe less is more, and that design should possess a point of view, without being fussy” – www.lisabuxton.com
I first met Lisa when she enquired about a lamp for sale on Collécte. Lisa purchased the lamp for her client which ended up being my first sale!
Lisa’s interiors are warm and refined, balanced with unique pieces of art and sculpture.
Providing interior design, decoration and styling, Lisa Buxton Interiors draws on influences from the US, Europe, and Australia to create unique interiors.

Describe your style in 6 words or less.
Lisa: Eclectic, art inspired, layered.
Which architects/designers most inspire you?
Lisa: I love so many designers both locally and internationally. My old boss Antony Todd in NYC is a designer I always look to for inspiration. Locally at the moment I am loving the work by AP design house, YSG studio and Lucy Bowen Design.
Who’s a favourite you’re following on Instagram at the moment?
Lisa: I love literally everything House of Grey posts.
What is your go to white interior paint colour?
Lisa: Dulux natural white always!
What is your most cherished piece at home? (furniture, art, lighting or decorative)
Lisa: This is a tricky one as most pieces in our home have a nice back story for me. If I had to choose though it would be between an Apparatus sconce we got for our wedding in New York, a William McKinnon painting, or a new mirror from Sophie Gannon with purple hair you can brush- odd, but I love it!
If you could splurge on a piece of furniture or art right now, what would it be?
Lisa: I am currently (currently and always!) lusting over a Polly Borland piece.
Do you have a trade tip you can share?
Lisa: Always consider heights in a room - differing heights of pieces make a room so much more interesting.
