Description:
A relic of Australian stagecraft, this Ned Kelly helmet was produced by Nigel Shaw Costumes, the long running Sydney workshop known for supplying theatre, film and television. Its surface carries deliberate distressing from production use, including impact textures and aged black finish that reflect its working life as a prop rather than a replica. The interior tag confirms manufacture by Nigel Shaw Costumes. A rare opportunity to acquire an authentic screen and theatre piece connected to one of Australia’s most recognisable historical figures. Strong presence. Collectable. Display ready. View our pieces by appointment at Artarmon and Camperdown.
