Set of Four Spanish Sling Leather Dining Chairs

Set of four original Navarro Argudo Spanish dining chairs, dating from the 1960s-70s. A rare and beautifully made set, featuring the earlier sling leather construction - one of the more desirable Navarro Argudo chair forms. The chairs have dark aged leather seats and backs, hammered metal stud detailing, and carved solid timber frames with a strong Spanish Brutalist presence. They are weighty, architectural and deeply textural, with the kind of craftsmanship that feels built to last. Original Navarro Argudo maker’s plaque present. Very good vintage condition overall. The leather shows creasing, surface wear and natural patina consistent with age. One chair has a small tear at the edge of the leather seat, shown clearly in the photographs. It is not highly noticeable in person and does not affect the structure or usability of the chair. A rare collector-worthy set.
