This is perhaps the most balanced, tastefully designed of all the Eames Aluminium Group chairs. The side chair has the same curve in its back as the rest of them, but with a slim profile unmarked by a tilt mechanism, has a poise and grace inherently present. This is a comfortable, stylish chair.
It has a 4-star base with glides and a swivel mechanism, black frame with black vinyl upholstery, colour carbon dark.
This is a chair that works equally well in the office and at home. With both substance and style, the Aluminium Side Chair is a classic design from Charles and Ray Eames.
