Description:
Stunning glazed earthenware bowl made by the Italian ceramicist Guido Gambone. Distinctive striped pattern at the organic rim, where the translucent mauve glaze gracefully dips over citron yellow sides. Striking decor in contrasting yellow, cream and purples with an incised geometric pattern in the centre. The bowl is rarely seen in this size and would make a beautiful centrepiece. In excellent condition and signed with the artists signature donkey at the bottom. Italy 1950s
