Jason Grant’s style is quintessentially Australian. Earthy, organic and textural, his love of nature and relaxed approach are stamped all over his creative work.
The three book author and stylist has also designed collections with Murobond Paint and Di Lorenzo Tiles and has worked with national and international magazines including Vogue Living, Inside Out, House and Garden and more.
Jason took some time to tell us about what he finds inspiring, his favourite piece on Collecte and his most cherished possessions.

Jason: Intuitive, relaxed, natural, creative, eclectic, authentic.

Jason: Architects - Richard & Spence
Artists - George Byrne, Dan Kyle, Marty Baptist, Doctor Copper, Miranda Skoczek, Lousie Olsen, Stephen Ormandy.
Designers - Kelly Wearstler, Commas, Flack Studio, Henry Wilson , Commune.
Photographers - Nicole Franzen, Jessie Prince, Lachlan Bailey , Bill Henson.
Creative - Richard Christiansen Flamingo Estate.
Florist - Sophia Moreno-Bunge and Spencer Falls (the unlikely Florist).
What is your most cherished piece at home? (furniture, art, lighting or decorative)
Jason: Besides my boston terrier Sophia, my Tom Dixon "Jack light” and my Hello Chair by Jeremy Harvey for Artifort.

Best piece of career advice you have ever received?
Jason: Be nice, be yourself, avoid comparisons and do what you love.

Jason: Soft colours from nature, Coffee, low key / mood enhancing music, roast potatoes, a good negroni, linen sheets, textiles, handmade ceramics , dark chocolate ginger, vintage finds

Jason: Watching a movie in bed with snacks or a low key hangout with a small group of friends sharing drinks, food and good conversation.

Jason: Fleet for special occasions, Light Years for easy weekend nights, and Seans always.
