Jacqueline "Jac" Hunt is the co-founder of iconic Australian fashion brand Jac + Jack. Founded in 2004, Jac +Jack produce modern luxurious knitwear that won't go out of date from season to season. Describe your style in 6 words or less.
Jac: Minimal, predictable. Neutrals mixed with colour.
Which architects/designers/artists most inspire you?
Jac: I love the work of Dries Van Noten, his sense of colour and play of texture and the decorative is sublime. Miuccia Prada for her intellectual approach to design. I also love Piero Lissoni, Patricia Urquiola and I love the German artist Katharina Grosse (so colourful) and Sarah Lucas sense of the edge, fearless. I also love Phoebe Waller-Bridge, she is inspiring as she does things you think about but wouldn't do.

What is your most cherished piece at home? (furniture, art, lighting or decorative)
Jac: Two Ligne Roset Togo armchairs in the palest pink fake suede. They sit in our sunken lounge room with nothing else around them. Minimal with colour.
Best piece of career advice you have ever received?
Jac: You don’t have a commercial eye and your stuff will never sell. I found that comment to be very motivating.

Favourite galleries or museums?
Jac: The Getty Los Angeles, Night Gallery Los Angeles, Regan Projects Los Angeles and Jeffrey Deitch Los Angeles (we used to live in LA and there are so many)….I dream about going again. Since lock down in Victoria I haven't been able to explore the amazing galleries we have here yet.
Favourite way to unwind at home?
Jac: Sitting still in my wicker armchair on the front porch, a glass of sipping tequila in hand.
Favourite restaurant?
Jac: France Soir in Melb and Mr Wong in Sydney.
Favourite podcast?
Jac: Don’t do it. Too much information for me. I prefer to read, snails pace.
Favourite piece on Collécte right now?
Jac: Emeco Navy 111 Dining Chairs in red. I have always loved these because of the design but the colour, bright red!
