Description:
Zanotta Sciangai folding coat stand. Inspiration for Sciangai was the Chinese game where wooden sticks are held in the hand and then dropped onto a table.
Amazing in its simplicity, it won the Compasso d’Oro Award in 1979.
This coat hanger can easily be closed and take up a minimal amount of space.
When opened, each pole may be used to hang coats, hats, or other pieces of clothing. All the elements are connected right above the middle. This allows for a wide base that ensures stability.
Frame made from varnished oak.
