Description:
An exceptionally rare find, this original destination roll from the Camberwell Depot was never installed in a tram. This plight has resulted in the 47-year-old tram roll in great condition. Printed at the MMTB Preston workshop on the 28 February 1977, the 5” lettering, includes 49 destinations such as Spencer St, Swanston St, Hawthorn, Kew, Windsor.
The destination roll is 10.5 m long and has the destinations written on the back of the roll in marker pen. This aspect is unique and potentially the reason why the roll was never installed in a tram.
