Description:
A French rosewood two door Louis 15th style vitrine decorated in the style of Verns Martin. Mounted on the serpentine top section and above the two doors, is a fine quality Ormolu rococo style mount, with matching ormolu mounts to the sides and on the cabriole legs.
The two front door panels are painted with scenes of a young lady reading a book and a young man releasing a bird, both are set in country scenes.
The side panels are painted with a lake scenes, also set in the country side. Circa 1900.
The vitrine is in very good original condition, with no repairs or restoration.
