Produzione Privata, Private Production, is the experimental laboratory of Michele De Lucchi. It was founded in 1990 as a continuation of the Memphis movement and above all, to design and implement experimental objects, free of commission, with maximum freedom of expression.
De Lucchi has designed lamps and furniture for well known Italian and European companies, such as Artemide, Olivetti, Alias, Unifor, Hermès, and Alessi.
Designed in 2006, the Flora, Fauna & Ittica pendant light collection is inspired by nature and takes the unique approach of redefining the flex as opposed to the diffuser. This Fauna pendant light is composed of laser cut metal with a porcelain bulb socket.
