An authentic 1970s Italian ceramic table lamp designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi. The classic vase form base features the intricate Spagnolo impressed pattern, beautifully finished in a rich mustard and brown glaze. It is paired with a brand new, handcrafted shade constructed from natural fibres using artisanal weaving techniques. The shade features a white metal frame and a clear inner lining that maximises light distribution, perfectly complementing the earthy tones and heavy texture of the ceramic. A highly collectible piece of Italian art pottery that brings genuine character and warm ambient light to a sideboard or bedside table. A stunning 25W Edison squirrel cage filament bulb is included so it is ready to plug in and enjoy immediately. Excellent vintage condition with no visible wear.
