Glass and LED table

This is a magnificent and rare piece by renowned industrial designer Ingo Maurer. The table has 278 white LEDs embedded between 3 layers of glass with no visible wiring in the table surface making the LEDs appear to be suspended in air and emit light through both sides of the glass. It was purchased from the showroom floor at Space Furniture approx 6 to 7 years ago and has been a statement display piece in an entry ever since, never actually used as a table. There is a clean straight crack in the glass as per photo which was there when purchased and so extreme care will need to be taken when moving this table. This is why it is being sold for such a low price. The crack is not easily visible unless you're looking for it. There is also a defect in the leg on the side as well, but again just like the crack you can hardly notice it unless you are specifically looking for it. Please also note this table is heavy.
