Early 20th Century Brass Double Student Lamp

Beautiful early 20th century brass double student lamp featuring twin adjustable arms with etched glass shades and a weighted brass base. Designed to provide directional light for reading or writing, each shade swivels independently, allowing the light to be angled where needed - a classic feature of traditional student and library lamps.The elegant brass column is finished with decorative cast detailing, while the original frosted glass shades are beautifully etched with an Art Nouveau inspired floral motif, casting a warm ambient glow when illuminated. In good vintage condition with a lovely aged patina, tarnishing and oxidation to the brass, consistent with age and use. The lamp has been rewired over its lifetime with replacement bayonet lampholders for practical everyday use and is in working order. The etched glass shades are in very good condition.
