Description:
Pernilla chair with footstool designed in 1944 by Bruno Mathsson and produced by DUX Sweden. Leather and canvas on a bentwood beech frame, organic in form.
Bruno Mathsson was a Swedish furniture designer and architect who experimented with wood bending techniques in his quest to find the perfect seating curve, making the chair extremely comfortable. Very good original condition patination commensurate with age. Verified authentic and available now in Melbourne. Price is for the set.
