Description:
A magnificent early 20th century three plank solid oak refectory table. The A frame solid oak legs with twisted wrought iron decorative bar joining each pair of legs are pure Arts and Craft in design, while the stretcher joining the legs and the table top are held in place with wooden pegs. The table comfortably seats 10 guests, and even up to 12 if you want to place two on each end. The table is in very good condition. The table top and base have been lightly cut back and waxed, allowing the original lovely golden oak colour and patina to come through and 3 of the pegs holding the top to the base have been replaced. Available now in Melbourne.
