Description:
A French carved wood louis 19th style painted console table and mirror, the console is supported by four carved and turned legs joined together by a bowed stretcher base. The stretcher base has a carved wooden urn mounted in the centre. The Louis Phillip style mirror is also 19th century.
The console table and mirror, even though they are both French from the 19th century, did not start life together. I believe they were paired up some time in the last 60 years and the frame of the mirror was painted to match the console table.
Mirror and console table top have been restored, the table base is in original condition. Original glass in the mirror. Circa Console table 1890, Mirror 1870.
