Description:
A beautiful antique bombe front mahogany office bureau, consistent with early 19th century examples. The unit rests elegantly on two front facing and expertly carved clawfoot feet. The bombe base of the unit incorporates three generously sized drawers, each with original drop front handles and ornate escutcheon. Bureau front drops down, resting on concealed supports, to reveal an exceptional array of curve-fronted internal drawers, 13 in total and document dividers. Original key and letters found in secret drawer included. Signs of wear as expected with age.
