Description:
The famous Cigar Chair and Footstool is designed by Hans Wegner for Getama in Denmark in the 1950s. The name Cigar chair derives from the attractively curved and tactile shape of the armrests. The footstool and frame of the chair are made of solid oak, with the original sprung cushions on the chair and have been re-upholstered in a Mokum fabric. The upholstery of the chair and ottoman is in excellent condition. It is very rare to find a footstool and this one is in excellent condition apart from a missing timber slat which does not affect the footstool in any way. Both the chair and footstool are in very good condition, verified authentic and available now in Melbourne. Price is for the set. A matching Cigar chair is available on our website.
