Description:
Russian Empire mahogany writing desk with deeply splayed legs in the neoclassical style. The five drawers are all decorated with brass cockbeading and medallion drawer pulls. Original bronze hairy lions paw capped feet. We have had the top expertly re-leathered and tooled to reflect the quality and age of this piece. The desk is in very good original condition, patination commensurate with age. Circa 1830. Verified authentic and available now in Melbourne.
