Description:
1950s Swedish Sommerso style glass vase designed by Gunnar Nylund for Stromberg.
Its original shape is created by moulding the molten glass by hand creating a triangular shape. The underlay glass technique is where coloured glass is encased in clear glass that forms a thick base and walls. This tricon vase is a soft cinnamon colour with a clear crystal coating. The vase is in excellent condition with a small group of scratches three quarters of the way up the side which are not noticeable unless very closely inspected. Verified authentic and available now in Melbourne.
